Software for motor controllers
We provide special software for our programmable motor controllers and controllers with command control function. SMC‑Program is intended for usage with SMSD controllers for stepper motors, BxSD-Program is used with BLSD and BMSD controllers - for DC brush and brushless motors.
The utility software with a simple interface allows writing and reading of operation settings for the driver SMD‑4.2DIN ver.2.
For the purposes of the controller configurating, debugging and operation testing we provide the special free software CANopen Builder.
SMD‑mini‑control software is designated for quick parameterization of the stepper motor with integrated controller SM4247 with SMD-1.6mini ver.2. The software also performs a given movement, setting speed and acceleration, starting and stopping the motor, turning on/off motor phases.
The software SMC-Program-LAN provides connection and control of few controllers SMSD‑4.2LAN or SMSD‑8.0LAN connected via Ethernet or USB interface. The program provides motion control, adjusting of control parameters (control mode, operation and holding current, microstepping), reading and writing executing programs to the controller, assembling and saving executing programs to a computer, getting the current motor state and the list of latest occured errors and events.
SMC-Program-Extended is used with SMSD-4.2RS-485 controllers for stepper motors. Communication interface and full command list are open and available in SMSD controller documentation. But for time saving, customers' support and convenience we offer ready software for easy work and fast execution programs assembling.
SMC-program-Extended allows simple motion control - set start and working speed, acceleration, motion direction and dispalcement. And another possibility - to assemble execution commands sequences - with operation loops, synchronization with other devices (inputs/outputs control). Real-time commands sending to SMSD is provided.
SMSD-4.2RS-485 controllers provide common data bus addressing - every of the controllers has it's own unique ID, few controllers can be connected to one bus RS-485.

SMC-Program-Modbus is intended for stepper motor controllers SMSD-Modbus series. It can be used to configure the controller parameters and control the drive. The program is intended to control the operation of stepper motor, assemble user programs using LD and IL languages and write them to the controller's memory. Also the software provides possibility of debugging user programs.
BxSD-Program is intended for base work with BLSD and BMSD controllers. The program allow setting controllers' communication address, control motion parameters and display real motor parameters - speed, direction and revolution counter according encoder feedback information.
The Modbus Special Utility program is designed to work with programmable controllers for brushed and brushless DC motors: BMSD‑20Modbus, BMSD‑40Modbus and BLSD‑20Modbus. This software provides interface for monitoring and changing the registers of the controller, configuring the parameters of the drive, allows to create and run a control user program.
Firmware for motor controllers
Standard versions of our drivers and controllers are suitable for use in most of applications. But there are applications, where the standard logic should be changed. For such cases, we have prepared special versions of firmware and logic for our controllers. Preparing of new versions of firmware is a subject for discussion, please contact us for details.
