BMD‑R - DC brush motor controller with radio control
The model BMD‑R is outdated, production discontinued. We recommend using new models instead. Please, check the list of present models here https://smd.ee/brushcontroller.htm
BMD‑R is a DC brush motor controller with remote control board. It is designed by our engineers for simple speed and direction motion control of DC brush motors under 250 W power. The controller also offers smooth start and stop of the motor. Maximum motor work current is 12 A, but overcurrent protection 16 A is provided.
The controller is supplied complete with the radio remote control. This handy device provides control of motion direction by buttons and motor speed by an internal encoder. The current motion speed is stored in the short term memory. Communication between the controller and the remote control unit is implemented by conversational address code, which is used during communication process for "friend-or-foe" identification. In such a way the controller is operated only by the remote controls, which are registered in the controller.
The speed and acceleration of a motor is controlled by PWM. An operator can adjuct motor speed by analog voltage signal, internal or external potentiometer. Start/Stop and motion direction is adjusted by digital signal.
A LED is provided for indication of the current work status.
